Hi, Happy New Year and welcome to thetallgirltrains!


My name is Carla, I’m a 26-year-old fitness enthusiast that has lived, learned and struggled through her own fitness and well-being journey. I’ve been overweight, underweight, happy, frustrated and everything in-between!

The tall girl trains is a blog dedicated to physical training and mind training, an outlet for me to express my thoughts and opinions and for you to *hopefully* be able relate to them. It will offer snippets of advice, workout ideas for the uninspired (often me!) and guidance on how best to spend those ‘rest days.’

My personal goal this year is to really work on my strength, without the focus being purely on aesthetics. By setting myself some mini goals throughout the year, I hope to achieve what I once perceived as the unachievable (unassisted pull-ups!) and document it here.
